The surroundings
Breathtaking landscapes, beaches, and attractions.
Torrevieja is a city in the province of the same name, which emerged amidst nature, making it an ideal location. In 1829, Torrevieja was devastated by an earthquake. The entire city was rebuilt from the ruins and now lies beautifully surrounded by the two salt lakes and natural parks. Originally, Torrevieja was known for its salt deposits, but tourism has transformed it into what it is today – a diverse city with an extremely international population.
Due to its internationally recognized health-promoting microclimate, it is recommended by doctors worldwide. In fact, Torrevieja has even been recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a globally acknowledged health destination.
